Xavi pleased as Barcelona defeat Osasuna: But we can do better

Barcelona coach Xavi was satisfied after their 1-0 win against Osasuna.

Vitor Roque scored his first goal for the club.

Xavi said: "The team has not been bad, but it has been a game that suffered more than necessary. You have 2-0 many times. We have lacked that control, which is what worries us the most.

"Positive things: we reacted well, Vitor Roque's goal, a clean sheet, good play in many moments... the three points, but we have to improve.

"The goal is very important. He absolutely needed it. He freed himself. He gives the victory, it makes the difference and this is going to be very good for him. Very happy for him. He works and will help us a lot. He doesn't complicate things. He knows his qualities.

"I asked to compete better, not to be so vulnerable. Today they have generated less for us, we have stopped a lot against, we have been very good in surveillance, more organised in defense...We wanted tactical order in both attack and defense and we have found it. But we have to demand more of ourselves and when you are against 10 that is the moment. It is a slight improvement."
