Wrexham extends Stoke deal for Bachmann

Stoke City goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann is extending his loan with Wrexham to the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has impressed on loan at the Racecourse Ground either side of spending two months in the treatment room with a knee injury.

Now Mark Hughes has given the green light for the youngster to stay in North Wales until the end of the campaign.

"That's near enough done," assistant boss Gary Mills told The Wrexham Leader.

"The paperwork has been sent off so as far as I am aware that's done and dusted.

"Dan has been outstanding for us, he has come to the club and has progressed since he got here. Being in the first team environment will be great for him.

"Mark Hughes was kind enough to take us up to his office after Sunday's game and he is delighted with how Dan has been treated here.

"He was more than helpful in making that deal happen."
