Southport U21 coach Wayne Coldicutt is convinced Drew Lewis can make it at Manchester United.
The young striker is currently trialling with the Premier League giants.
Coldicutt told the Daily Star: "Drew is an all-round striker. He can drop deep, he can play on the shoulder, he's got the ability for it all.
"He is good in the air good with his feet. He's two-footed and I'd say he's a similar type of player to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"He's like that. He's got that sort of play, great in the air but also great with both feet and knows were the net is.
"He's a real gem of a player with great technique and ability."
Coldicutt added: "When we heard Man Utd came in that blew us all away but I've said to Drew it's only a matter of time until one of the big boys come in.
"Manchester United saw him play against Burscough [in the Liverpool Senior Cup] for the first team.
"He was only on the pitch for 25 minutes which shows you what a talent he is."
