Scott Parker is absolutely thrilled to be back in the England fold after spending most of the season sidelined with injury.
The Tottenham midfielder is back in action after an Achilles problem kept him out for the first half of the season and was called up by Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson for Friday's World Cup qualifier with San Marino and Tuesday's trip to Montenegro.
Parker says the dream of representing his country at a World Cup helped spur him on during his recovery from the injury.
"Now I am amongst it again, the fire rumbles in my belly to get there for Brazil," Parker told reporters.
"I have not had many massive injuries in my career but the ones you do have give you that hunger again. I need to take things one step at a time but, now I am in the squad, if I get my chance I need to take it."
