Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney won't be released a new book on his World Cup exploits.
The Daily Mail says HarperCollins have made the inevitable decision following Rooney's nightmare tournament and mothballed the second of his five-book autobiography that was due out in the autumn.
This is despite most of the book having been written in advance with just the World Cup account to have been added - or not.
