Freddie Woodman signed a new four-year deal with Newcastle United on Monday.
The highly-rated 19-year-old goalkeeper has penned a long-term extension which will see him remain tied to the Magpies until at least the summer of 2020.
England U19 international Woodman had a successful loan spell wth Crawley Town last season before returning to St James' Park to serve as back-up for Karl Darlow following the injury to Tim Krul.
Woodman spoke of his delight at committing to the Toon on NUFC TV, via his Twitter account, and is hoping to soon break in to Rafa Benitez's first-team.
