Leicester City striker Chris Wood remains available after a move to Wolves fell through this week.
The Express & Star says five clubs could pick up where Wolves left off in the race to sign Wood.
Fulham, Norwich City, Derby County, Wigan Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday are all interested.
