Wolves winger Michael Kightly says he draws inspiration from Aston Villa rival James Milner.

One of Wolves' outstanding players in Mick McCarthy's three seasons in charge at Molineux, Kightly wants to emulate what Milner does for Villa by displaying an ability on the ball matched by an insatiable workrate.

"Some people think all he does is work hard," Kightly said. "But he is a very good footballer; he's intelligent and has two good feet. He is an all-round good footballer and one I can learn off."
