Benik Afobe says the Wolves players will be kept updated with the progress of other Championship matches on the final weekend of the season.
The Wolverhampton club host Millwall at the Molineux on Saturday and need to win to be any chance of sneaking into the Premier League play-offs.
However, both Brentford and Derby County have to lose to Wigan Athletic and Reading respectively if Wolves are to move up to sixth position meaning Afobe and his teammates will be curious regarding the scores in those other fixtures.
"People in the crowd and on the bench will be keeping us updated on scores from around the country," striker Afobe told Sky Sports News HQ.
"But we just have to concentrate on our task here at Molineux - that said I'll want to know what's going on.
"The manager said 'I don't remember a team getting 70-odd points and not getting promoted' - every team around us has pushed and done so well, it just shows how hard this season has been."
