Wolves manager Kenny Jackett has confirmed that the club is interested in Chelsea's Patrick Bamford.
The 20-year old striker is likely to be on the move this summer in order to gain further development at first team level and Jackett has admitted that he is a fan.
"We've enquired about him in the past but I don't know currently what's happening with him and where he's going," the Molineux boss told Express & Star.
"I don't know what his options are and where he stands in Chelsea's pecking order. At one stage it seemed he was quite high, but is he falling down it now?
"We're not necessarily in regular touch with regard to where he's going next, if he goes anywhere."
Bamford, who scored eight goals on loan for Derby County last season, is also a target for Middlesbrough and could quite possibly depart Stamford Bridge permanently before the close of the current transfer window.
