Wolves join scramble for cut-price Barnsley winger Hammill

Wolves have joined the race for Barnsley winger Adam Hammill.

The Sun says Mick McCarthy is ready to enter the race for Barnsley's Adam Hammill.

Wolves boss McCarthy will battle West Ham, Blackpool and Nottingham Forest to sign the winger, 22.

All signs are that Hammill will leave Barnsley this month as his contract carries a relatively affordable £500,000 buyout clause.
