Wolves, Everton behind Arsenal in race for Real Madrid outcast James

Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez is ready to test himself in England.

The Colombia international is prepared to leave Real at the end of this season after failing to find a place in coach Zinedine Zidane's first team plans.

And El Mundo Deportivo says after spells in Portugal, France, Spain and Germany, James is now ready to experience the Premier League.

Arsenal are in contact with Jorge Mendes' agent, but aren't alone, with Wolves and Everton also keen.

Wolves enjoy a close relationship with Mendes, while James played for Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti at both Real and Bayern Munich.

James has been on the books of Real since 2014.
