Wolves boss Mick McCarthy denies moving for Crystal Palace fullback Nathaniel Clyne.
Manchester United are also being linked with Clyne.
McCarthy has told Sky Sports News: "I saw we bid £2million for Clyne at Crystal Palace, where on earth that has come from? We did bid for him 18 months ago but that didn't happen and there is no truth in that at all."
