Wolves are challenging Birmingham City for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The Daily Mail says Wolves hope to pip Birmingham to sign Hart on loan for next season.

Hart, 22, lost his place when City paid £8million for Shay Given in January.

The loan, which would cost around £3m, would be similar to those in which England keepers Scott Carson and Ben Foster moved to Aston Villa and Watford to get first-team experience.
