Wolves boss Nuno: Victory over Everton thoroughly deserved

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo saw Sunday's comprehensive 3-0 win over Everton as the perfect response after a small form slump.

The Molineux outfit entered the match with two losses against Arsenal and Sheffield United.

But they kept themselves in sixth-place on 52 points with a terrific win at home over Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Speaking after the game, Nuno said: "No doubts about it. I think we played good. In the first-half I think we still had the same situation as the previous games, we didn't finish the actions, there was always one pass missing, so it's something we have to look at.

"It was very important the timing we scored, at the end of the first-half and beginning of second-half. It's difficult for our opponent to react in that moment and we were able to manage better the game. I'm happy with all the game.

"We were very organised, very consistent. Everton have quality on the ball, dangerous players, and we managed to give them almost nothing, so this is a big step on our process. Offensively we improved, not as much as we should, first-half there was something missing, but this is the process. We were able to perform and play better than previous games."
