Wolves boss Terry Connor believes Matt Jarvis is showing England form.

Despite rock-bottom Wolves' struggles, he has recently looked back to his best.

Connor said: "The only way Matt's going to do it is by playing well for Wolves - and he's doing that.

"He's one player who has managed to keep his form and keep his threat going, which is to his credit.

"He's got every chance of breaking into the England set-up again. He's continued to be a threat down that left-hand side and he scored at Newcastle and Norwich.

"So he's doing everything he possibly can for Wolves and if that influences his prospects elsewhere then everyone will benefit.

"He's had to modify his game and work on other aspects. I would love them all to be like Jarvis, at the top of their game, but that's not always possible."
