Roger Johnson is a step closer to joining Wolves after Birmingham City agreed a fee with the Molineux club.
According to Press Association Sport, Wolves have agreed a £7million fee for the 28-year old defender and he will now undergo a medical and agree personal terms with the club before the transfer is complete.
Johnson joined Birmingham from Cardiff City in June 2009 and has become a consistent performer for the St Andrew's outfit over the past couple of seasons.
Like a lot of his teammates, Johnson has been linked with a summer departure following Birmingham's relegation to the Championship and it now appears highly likely that he will set up camp with Wolves.
