Wolfsburg are interested in Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The former Bayer Leverkusen and Tottenham forward is under consideration at Wolfsburg as a direct replacement for Edin Dzeko.
Should Dzeko move to Manchester City, Wolfsburg will bid to bring Berbatov back to the Bundesliga.
New Wolfsburg coach Steven McClaren would welcome the arrival of the United striker.
