Wolfsburg have tabled a massive bid for Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle. The London Evening Standard says Wolfsburg have made a £23.5m bid to sign Chelsea squad player Schurrle this month.

The Bundesliga outfit are looking to capitalise on the German international's struggle to make an impression at Stamford Bridge to lure him away.

Schurrle has started just 12 games this term, five in the Premier League, and is now firmly behind Willian in the pecking order.

The 24-year-old has struggled for form and fitness since playing a part in Germany's victorious World Cup campaign in the summer.
