Germany forward Julian Draxler has joined Paris St-Germain from Wolfsburg on a four-and-a-half-year contract, reports BBC Sport.

The French champions confirmed the signing on Tuesday after the two clubs agreed a deal on 24 December for a reported £35.5m.

"I will do everything to help PSG win new trophies and continue to grow internationally," the 23 year old said.

"I'm going to discover a new country, a new league, and I'm very proud to take this new step at a club which has become a benchmark in Europe and has signed a lot of great players in recent years."
