Former Chelsea flop Andre Schurrle could be offered a pathway back to the Premier League.
A number of news outlets are reporting that both Liverpool and Tottenham are showing significant interest in the Wolfsburg star.
Germany intentional Schurrle, 25, spent 18 months with Chelsea from the summer of 2013 until January 2015 but struggled to make an impression at Stamford Bridge and was sold to Wolfsburg for £22million.
German publication Kicker is also of the belief that the English pair want the attacking midfielder who has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for Dieter Hecking's side.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp knows Schurrle well from the player's time in the Bundesliga with Mainz, Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg while Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is eyeing a couple of quality additions to his side that continues to challenge for this season's Premier League title.
