Wolfsburg are chasing Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar.
BILD says Wolfsburg have identified Kranjcar as a replacement for Diego, who is a target for Liverpool and Chelsea.
Croatia international Kranjcar still has two years to run on his existing deal, but he wants a move away after losing his first-choice status at Spurs this season.
Wolfsburg hope to talk down Tottenham's £10 million asking price for the midfielder.
