Wolfsburg have continued their pursuit of Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle.
The Bundesliga outfit are keen on the Germany international and sent a delegation to London over the weekend to press on with negotiations according to The Guardian.
Schurrle is expected to sit out Tuesday's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool as the talks carry on indicating that he may have played his last match for the Blues.
It is believed Chelsea are asking for a fee of around £23.5million for the 24-year old who joined for £18m from Bayer Leverkusen in June 2013 but Wolfsburg would prefer an initial loan deal for the remainder of the season with the view to a permanent transfer.
Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Schurrle has scored 14 goals in 65 appearances, having made just five starts in the Premier League so far this campaign.
