Wolfsburg demand €50M-plus for Man Utd, Man City target De Bruyne

VfL Wolfsburg will only consider offers of €50 million or more for Kevin de Bruyne this summer. The former Chelsea winger is being linked with Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and PSG this season.

Kicker says Wolfsburg are bracing for offers for De Bruyne, but the board have agreed no bid will be considered for less than €50 million.

De Bruyne's agent, Patrick de Koster, said this week: "First of all we need to discuss things with the leaders of Wolfsburg, with whom Kevin is still under contract for four years.

"The club has made a big investment to get him and always shown him a lot of confidence. After that, we will see what his status is and what is on offer from interested clubs.

"He earns €5million or €6million [£3.6m or £4.3m] here but that is not the priority.

"We just want Kevin to continue to flourish and take greater pleasure in playing football.

"Paris Saint-Germain and other interested clubs are coming to me to make initial enquiries. There are no concrete discussions at present.

"The fee for a possible transfer? I can not answer you. It is always a matter of supply and demand but we're not there yet.

"A lot can happen in the meantime. Everything can move fast in football."
