Wolfsburg chief executive Klaus Allofs is confident that club will keep Kevin De Bruyne this summer.
The 23-year old Belgian attacking midfielder is a target for Manchester City but Allofs is planning to slap a £40million price tag on his head in order to ward off any interested suitors.
De Bruyne has starred in the Bundesliga this season after returning to Germany's top flight from Chelsea and Wolfsburg have no intentions of letting him go anytime soon.
"At the moment, I'd call him unsellable," he told German TV show Doppelpass.
"I am 100 per cent convinced he will play for us next year.
"However, in football things can develop so rapidly, that you can't say this now."
