Kelvin Wilson hopes Celtic take up the option on a 12-month contract extension so he can remain at the club.
The 27-year old centre-back has a year to run on his current deal but hopes the Hoops come to the party and offer him some more security at Parkhead.
"I don't know. I have this year left and then there is an option on my last year, which is down to the club," he told the Daily Record.
"I'll play this season and see what happens.
"I'll speak to the gaffer throughout the season but it's not something I'm really thinking about. I just want to play football."
