Wilson happy seeing action for Liverpool in Sparta Prague stalemate

Danny Wilson was delighted seeing action for Liverpool in their 0-0 draw at Europa League opponents Sparta Prague.

The Scottish international made his first start under Kenny Dalglish and gave an accomplished display at left-back as the Reds kept their fifth clean sheet out of their last six games.

"I've not played in two months since the Utrecht game so I was delighted the manager gave me the nod to play," Wilson told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"Defenders are always happy with a clean sheet, I enjoyed it, and hopefully I can be involved in the next match."
