Exciting striker talent James Wilson was delighted to score on his Manchester United U21 debut this week.
Wilson struck in the 2-0 win at Blackburn Rovers.
"I think it went very well with the goal and everything else," Wilson, 18, told MUTV. "I've been working hard in training and have been waiting for this step up to the U21s. I thought I did quite well.
"The more you step up, the faster the games get and the more you have to adapt your game. It has been a great experience to go into Europe as well with the U19s. It's great learning from Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes and now Warren Joyce, being a former player as well, so it's all good.
"I've been doing work before and after training on free-kicks and penalties as well and it's paid off, so I'm quite happy with that. Everyone was working hard and it was a very good performance all round."
