Daniel Williams remains committed to completing his takeover of Blackburn Rovers.
He will hold a final round of talks with the club over the next few days, after which he could enter into a period of due diligence with a view to making a formal offer. A source close to the Williams camp told The Times: "They are still in the mix for buying Rovers. Other pressing matters, both personal and business, have held things up, but they intend to reconnect with the club this week and hope to move talks forwards. They probably need one last round of talks with the club and then a decision can be made."
