Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins is convinced John Terry would ditch his England exile, if asked. Terry, 33, had a bust-up with the FA in 2012 over a racism row involving Anton Ferdinand and since the he has ruled out representing his country.
But Wilkins told the Daily Star Sunday: "If the conversation was to be had then there is a possibility of changing his mind. John would probably go, he is very patriotic. I think the FA have to come to John. They won't want to do it but that is the way it has to be.
"John in the dressing room is a very powerful guy and he would be a major asset to England."
