Chris Wilder admits Sheffield United are running out of time to sign Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster.

Wilder would like to sign the 20-year-old striker to bolster his forward line, who faltered in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Leeds United.

"I have been focusing on the team but time is running out and we all understand that," said Wilder when asked for the latest on the Brewster situation.

"I have recommended to the board that we bring a couple of players in.

"We have put some names to them and hopefully they will look at that and agree with my assessment that we need to strengthen."
