Liverpool star Gini Wijnaldum may have an uncertain future at the club.
The Dutch midfielder was a key player as Liverpool ended their 30-year wait for the Premier League title this past season.
But with Wijnaldum in the final 12 months of his contract, the Liverpool Echo claims he could leave if no extension is agreed.
He has not held talks with the club, and the 29-year-old could be someone Jurgen Klopp moves on for a younger player.
The former Newcastle man will be free to speak with foreign clubs in January if an extension is not agreed before then.
The Reds will still hope to get a fee for Wijnaldum, which means a January departure is possible if he does not sign a contract between now and then.
