Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is intensifying his push for Birmingham City midfielder Olivier Kapo.

Bruce has already snapped up Daniel de Ridder on a free from Brum and is now going back to his old club for Frenchman Kapo.

But the move is yet to be finalised as versatile Ryan Taylor may be part-exchanged in the transfer.
