Wigan Athletic striker Conor Sammon says he cannot wait until his next game for his new club.
The 24-year old Dubliner joined the Latics from Scottish club Kilmarnock in January, making six appearances for the DW Stadium club, and he is chomping at the bit for the next campaign to start after finding some form late last term.
"In many ways the summer has come at the wrong time for me - I've just had my first start and it's over two months until the next game!" he told the club's official website.
"I can't wait to see what next season will bring.
"I want to break into the team from the word go next season, and I want to score goals in the Premier League.
"It's really exciting times for both me and the club, and the future is looking extremely positive."
