James McArthur was absolutely delighted to share the weekend's FA Cup triumph with good mate James McCarthy.
The midfield pair, who played together at Hamilton Academical, helped Wigan Athletic clinch the FA Cup trophy with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday and McArthur was quick to remember playing together for the Accies in the Scottish Cup.
"The first time we were really recognised was when we both scored against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup. It's funny, we got a wee picture taken on the Wembley pitch which reminded us of that moment," he said.
"It was the exact same pose that night we played for Accies.
"We wanted to get another photo because this is extra special for myself and James.
"We are so close and coming from a small club like Hamilton to winning the FA Cup is amazing."
