Wigan's Martinez: Man Utd's Cleverley will be with us until season's end

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez insists Manchester United loanee Tom Cleverley will remain at DW Stadium until the end of the season.

The 21-year old winger is on loan from the Red Devils for the entire 2010/11 campaign but there has been talk that Sir Alex Ferguson may want him back at Old Trafford, especially after losing Park Ji-sung to the Asian Cup for most of January.

But Martinez is adamant that Cleverley, who has so far made 12 Premier League appearances for the Latics, will stay at Wigan.

"I haven't spoken with Sir Alex,'' Martinez said. "At the moment nothing is changing. He is on loan until the end of the season.

"Obviously Man United have the option to call him back, as with any other loan, but at the moment nothing has been said.''
