Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Chris Kirkland is set to join Championship club Doncaster Rovers on loan.
The 30-year old will team up with the Keepmoat Stadium outfit for the rest of the season as they look to improve on their position of 20th in England's second tier.
Kirkland has been looking for regular first team football since he fell down the pecking order at DW Stadium following the arrival of Ali Al Habsi and his move will come as Doncaster boss Dean Saunders strives to sign him on an emergency loan deal.
