Wigan Athletic have joined the chase to sign Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan, according to Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old has been the subject of three failed bids from Scottish club Rangers and Rotherham United have also been linked with interest in the player.

Now Wigan are the latest to inquire the availability of former Dundee United and West Bromwich Albion man.

Allan has a year left on his current deal and will be eligible to talk to other clubs from January.
