Wigan Athletic are in talks with PSV Eindhoven for fullback Carlos Salcido.
Voetbal International says Wigan have registered their interest with PSV for the Mexico international, who was outstanding at the World Cup.
Salcido is refusing to return to PSV after falling out with coach Fred Rutten and the Dutch giants are ready to sell.
The experienced fullback could arrive at Wigan as a replacement for Liverpool target Maynor Figueroa.
