Wigan Athletic must sell to buy Almeria winger Pablo Piatti.
The pint-sized Argie is also interesting Liverpool.
The People says Piatti is a target for the Latics, but the 22-year-old is rated at £8m and Wigan would have to sell Charles N'Zogbia to fund the move.
N'Zogbia is wanted by Newcastle United and Sunderland.
