Victor Moses is hoping for a start after helping Wigan defeat West Bromwich Albion.
His introduction added another dimension to Wigan's play, and Moses is desperate to retain his spot for Saturday's trip to Manchester United.
"It's up to the gaffer but, as I've always said, I just want to get out there on the pitch and play my football," he told the Wigan Evening Post. "There are a lot of games to come and I am just keen to keep learning and improving.
"I was just happy to be able to come on and score a goal, and hopefully it'll be hard for him to leave me out.
"I just want to get at the full-back as soon as I get the ball, threaten him and make him nervous.
"Like I said, it's his call, it's not up to me to be saying this and that. I'll leave it to him to make the right decision."
