Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi is in doubt for this week's international with Oman and the weekend's Premier League clash with Liverpool.
The 30-year old injured a nerve in his shoulder in the 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday and is in danger of missing Oman's vital 2014 World Cup qualifier with Japan on Wednesday.
Al Habsi was set to lead his nation into battle in Muscat as the Omanis, placed third on the Group B table, look to leap above second-placed Australia.
The problem could also force Al Habsi out of Saturday's trip to Liverpool as the Latics look to improve on their current position of 14th.
