Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan won't consider selling any of his top players this January.

The Mirror says Spurs' Harry Redknapp has been told to forget about signing Wigan midfielder Wilson Palacios.

Whelan was told Spurs were willing to pay £10million for the Honduran when the clubs met at the weekend.

But Whelan is refusing to sell his stars. A Wigan insider revealed: "The fear is that if one goes they will all want to leave."
