Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is ready to give Ben Watson an extended first team run.
The Wigan midfielder is poised for a rare start against West Bromwich Albion after hitting a shock winner at Tottenham last Saturday.
Latics boss Martinez said: "Every player is frustrated when they are not playing.
"But Ben is always respectful and has reacted in the right manner.
"I have said many times he is one of the most gifted British players from a technical point of view.
"Against Bradford in the Capital One Cup, he had 151 passes - which is very impressive for any player."
