Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is gutted for Ryo Miyaichi over the on-loan Arsenal winger's latest injury.

Martinez fears he's seen the last of the Japan international in a Latics shirt after just seven appearances - and only one start.

"It's a massive blow, because you will never meet a better professional or a nicer human being than Ryo," said Martinez.

"It doesn't look like his time with Wigan will end on a high, and that will be a shame for everyone."
