Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez admits he's keen on Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo.

The 32-year-old hitman hopes to become a free agent this week with representatives in advanced talks over a release from his contract.

And Martinez said: "Tamudo is on our list and yes, I would like him."

Roma and several Premiership rivals, including Hull, Blackburn and Bolton are competing with Martinez for the Spain international.
