Wigan Athletic loanee Charlie Goode has returned to parent club Brentford.

Goode, 28, joined Wigan in January on-loan to June.

Wigan manager Shaun Maloney said: “Charlie is not in contention at the moment; he's gone back to Brentford.

“It's a personal reason, we'll see what happens."

Asked whether Goode will return, Maloney replied: “Maybe."
