Wigan Athletic want players on-loan from Manchester United if they're to sell winger Luis Antonio Valencia to the champions-elect.

The Mirror says United are reluctant to go too high for Valencia and have offered manager Steve Bruce the choice of a couple of players to go on a season-long loan as part of the package.

Bruce wants young striker Fraizer Campbell, but may yet push his luck and ask for Danny Welbeck instead. Both Old Trafford reserves could be sent out for experience by Sir Alex Ferguson.
