Wigan Athletic are chasing Deportivo La Coruna striker Riki.

The Sun says the Latics are locked in a three-way battle for Deportivo La Coruna hitman Riki.

Espanyol and Real Zaragoza are also interested but Latics boss Roberto Martinez is renowned for shrewd signings from his homeland, Spain.

Ivan Ramis joined from Real Mallorca in August and Arouna Kone quickly followed from Sevilla.

Riki, 32, hit 14 goals last season as his side were promoted back to La Liga and he has 12 this term.

The Spaniard is available on a free transfer in the summer.
