WHIZ KID! Man Utd starlet Rashford fires home England U21 hat-trick

Marcus Rashford scored a hat-trick on his England U21 debut in Colchester on Tuesday.

18-year-old Rashford has now scored on his senior club debut for Manchester United, his senior England debut and his U21's bow.

The United striker gave Gareth Southgate's Young Lions a 29th minute lead when he raced onto a lovely through ball from Chelsea's Nathaniel Chalobah to fire beyond Norway keeper Sondre Rossbach in the eventual 6-1 demolition.

Later in the first half, England were 2-0 up when Chalobah fired home Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse's free-kick from the back post.

On 64 minutes it was 3-0 courtesy of Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek who slotted home a pass from Blues colleague and current Vitesse Arnhem loanee Lewis Baker.

Less than a minute later and Rashford had netted his second of the contest when he produced a delightful looping effort into the far post, with the help of a slight deflection, despite the attention of three Norway opponents.

Ghayas Zahid swiftly pulled one back for the Norwegians before Rashford completed his hat-trick in the 71st minute when coolly converting form the penalty spot.

Baker then wrapped it up at 6-1 on 86 minutes when slotting home a low Ward-Prowse shot to give Southgate's side a massive win in Euro2017 qualifying which has them sitting on top of Group 9 with 14 points from six matches.
